I just love this photo, even if it was taken by my really crappy digital camera.
it's Maiko ( a to-be Geisha). saw her on one of the streets of Gion - Kyoto. I really love the expression on people's faces when they are able to see one of those artist's heading for work. they are so friendly, so happy and so ful of emotions. when I saw her my hands was really shaking. it was the Japan I was searching for and believe me, it's really hard to find in today's Japan.
you can see many girls dressed up as Maiko in Kyoto. there are just turists, who have fun with wearing all those clothes and make-up and then riding riksha and sightseeing. but to see the reall ones you should go to Gion at about 5.30 pm and... wait. they are coming from tea houses and running really fast for their work, so to take a good photo is a really complicaded thing... I have a whole rol of film with maiko, so soon there will be more
i went to a tea house there dressed up in my yukata and some miko's that were walking by freaked out. probly because i wasnt japanese but still. kyoto is beautiful

I was eating in a restaurant, minding my own buisness, When suddenly I hear:
-What the Hell man!
WHAT THE HELL!
-mumble mumble
-Do you think I care!
I DONT CARE!
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
